E-Racer
Well Tom,
We're glad you asked!!! We love to help you out so here's what we have *tried* to do in the past. It can get a little confusing doing 'add ons' but we need to keep our officials happy so they come first.
When you register online you MUST sign up for the official OBRA recognized categories for results, BAR, the online reg program, and overall sanity. You will automatically be scored either by category or age. However, if you have 5 or more folks who also qualify for a *second* classification (such as bike + rider - weight of bike) then we will try to score that and any reasonable challenge in addition to regular OBRA rules.
OBRA rules and scoring take precedent, but if you and your team/family/friends/enemies would like to challenge each other based on any reasonable criteria - we will attempt to score that separately so that your massive triumph may be recorded in the chronicles of yore.
NOTE: This applies to pre-registered riders who let us know ahead of time.
Reminder: There are no early starting times for day-of registration. We certainly can work to accommodate special starting times and starting order requests for pre-registered riders, but as a courtesy to those who sign pre-reg, there are no special 'fill-in-the-blank-on-race-day' starting times once the final pre-registration list is done.
Thanks for understanding, thanks for racing!
