Bridge of the gods

One of our rando club routes covers that area.

You still need to get on 84 for a brief section, as per the map link
above. That last section is under construction, after which 84 will be
avoided completely. Note that there is now weekday construction work
up on the scenic highway near Crown Point. I think it's just weekdays
now, but there will be weekend closures soon and a complete closure this
fall while they shore up the road around the Vista House.

My memory fails me on the details of getting through/around Washougal, I
know there's a Washougal loop variant as well as just going directly out
SR14 too. Also I hear the old scenic highway now replaces much of the
highway riding.

Can someone link me to a Google/Gpsies/Strava/Garmin/MapMyRide map
please.

Thanks
Michael Medina.

We did the ride this past weekend, we crossed over the bridge closure area
on the Washougal pretty easily (with a little cross action).

Apparently the Washougal loop has a bridge closure and there is weekday road
work around Crown point. I'm just glad to be able to consider doing this
ride again.

You can take the Washougal River Hwy and then peel off at the General
Store.
Here is a link. Peel off at Salmon Falls Rd and connect with SR 14.

Both roads are closed right now I believe with inconvenient detours.
