The City of ****Portland**** has completed designing the Division
Streetscape Project. The city expects to start construction in October
2012. ****
** **
This update covers planned improvements to street crossings. The city will
re-stripe all existing crosswalks, which include: ****
** **
1. Signalized intersections at 11th, 12th, ****Orange****, 17th, Seven
Corners (20th, Ladd, 21st), 26th, 34th, and Cesar Chavez****
** **
2. Existing marked crossings for non-signalized intersections at ****28th
Place****, 30th, and 31st.****
** **
3. The city will also re-stripe new crosswalks as part of the Division
Street Project. The new locations are at 32nd, 35th Avenue, ****35th Place**
**, ****37th Avenue****, and ****38th Avenue****. ****

All marked crossings at non-signalized intersections will include curb
extensions to help make pedestrians more visible to oncoming traffic.****

*Tabor to the River Program*
This project is part of the Tabor to the River Program, which combines
innovative stormwater management techniques with sewer repairs and
improvements to stop basement flooding, manage stormwater more naturally,
and to restore watershed health. The program area extends from **Mt.** **
Tabor** to the **Willamette** **River** between **SE Hawthorne** and SE
Powell boulevards.****

*The city will re-pave SE Division from SE 11th Avenue to Cesar Chavez
Boulevard, and will reconstruct all corners that are not ADA compliant.*
