Some time trial hints

After the Jack Frost and seeing that many people did not understand the

start times I thought I'd put out a little primer.



Time of Day is the time on your watch

Race time is the time of the clock that starts the event.

Most time trials are run on race time.

You can run late on time of day but race time always remain the same

i.e. if we are suppose to start at 9:45 but actually do not start until

10:00 then the rider that leaves at 2:30 still leaves at 2:30.

Your running time starts at your 'race time' start even if you are late and

not there at the appointed time.



Make sure when someone tells you that the event is 15 minutes behind that

you go over to the start area and check with the 'Race Clock'
