Hey obra land,
those of you who know mat know him as a cyclist. he also works for trader joe's. if you've ever been in a trader joe's (who hasn't?) you know the employees make for a fun atmosphere. we're like a large family. so when a family member needs help, we do what we can. the trader joe's company has agreed to sponsor teams from the 6 portland area stores to ride in the Echelon Gran Fondo. they have paid all our entry fees, and it's up to us to raise the money. we are all riding to raise funds for Mat. 30 riders times (the minimum) $250 is a good chunk of change ($7,500). but we can do better than that.
