ISM/ Adamo saddles are great.

Most of the peloton doesn't like them due to the power of conformity/tradition.

They aren't super confortable but they put the pressure on one's sit bones, and not the plumbing.

I agree with Dan, there might be a simpler solution. Talk to Russell at Upper Echelon for bike fitting.

As for the ISM saddles, it's a 50/50 chance. 1/2 love it and the other 1/2 hate it. Those that love it say that there is some adjustment period and it is hard to really dial in. But once you go through that, it is a great saddle.

I've never had trouble with a road saddle as long as there is a cut out, but for a TT saddle I kept going numb. On my third try I chanced it with the ISM TT saddle and love it!!! I can stay on the aero bars for a full 40k with no numbing issues.

My thought is to buy it at a LBS with a good return policy. Wrap the rails with electrical tape so yo don't scratch the rails and give it a try.

It might work, but as stated before talk to a bike fitter first.

Good luck,
Stewart

"tear you apart?"
Have you been professionally fit?
Do your shorts have barbed wire in the padding?
Unless you have an anomalous anatomy, something else is not right.
Your doctor is probably a great doctor but I'll bet he has not been to bike
fitting school.
I'm not saying the Adamo saddle won't work for you, I'm just saying there
may be a simpler solution.
