Short Track Results Frustration

I'll be checking carefully at the start next week to make sure everyone has
the same color plate. If a racer does not have the right plate then I will
send them back to registration to get the correct plate - which may mean
missing the start.

Courteously,

Last night at the Portland Short Track 5 different riders rode in races
with plates from different categories. When this happens I have to go back
and completely redo results for all the fields involved. It is tedious and
time consuming.

It is within the judges purview to choose to not score these riders. But it
is OBRA's philosophy to make sure that the riders are treated fairly. I
would just ask that you treat the judges fairly and take the extra 2 seconds
to make sure that your plate is the correct one ;-)

My 2 cents

Were any of these riders competing in two different categories?

When they race with the wrong numbers....they are not treating the rest of the riders (as well as judges) fairly! We all make mistakes, but we could pay for them instead of have you struggle with your time to bale us out.
