Subject: [OBRA Chat] Short Track (and eventually CCX) categories

You cannot simultaneously ride in 2 different categories that are ability ranked. i.e. you cannot ride the Cat 2 Masters and the Cat 1 Masters.
Once you make the move to the higher category you have committed yourself. There are a number of riders who have been doing that at the Portland Short track. I will send them individual messages but just FYI if you want to ride in multiple categories then maybe you need to get yourself a singlespeed ;-)
