Hey everyone,

Another reminder that if you raced the Portland Short Track Series and plan to race the OBRA STXC Championships (on Sunday Aug 12 in Cascade Locks), please make sure to hang on to your series race plates and bring them with you! To make things easier on our registration crew and OBRA officials (and save some trees), we will be re-using the series plates.

Also, this Sunday (from 10am to 3pm), I'll be out there with a bunch of volunteers to pre-ride and further fine-tune the course, so if you are eager to check out the course, feel free to join us. And if so, make sure to bring water, sunscreen and swim wear for a post-ride dip in the river (there is a real nice pebble beach right next to the course!).

Note: we extended the early registration deadline to end-of-day Sunday, so still time to save $5 off your race entry fee!
