Sure, you can buy a new Jake the Snake for about $1500, but it won't have a Chris King headset, Thomson seatpost and stem, Selle Italia Flite saddle, or TRP V-brakes. This bike has only been ridden a handful of times since it was built this summer.
If you want a race ready machine, I could exchange the new clinchers and substitute some used tubular wheels with Dura Ace hubs, Mavic Reflex rims, and brand new Challenge Fango tubulars......for the same price.
If you are a Clydesdale (well over 200 lbs, not just tipping the scale at 201 lb), you want this bike because it will handle your extra mass, whether it be muscle, or anything but muscle.
