My "Younglings",
"tubular clincher tires" exist. These are tubular tires with clincher fittings - thus called "tubular clincher tires". They are known of in Europe where I live these days. Welcome to the future and the year 2012. :) http://youtu.be/QM2Frm2wke4
I know a few of you knew what I was talking about.. thanks
no sweat,
Kristinn
Kristinn,
Make sure they are installed on the rim properly and you shouldnt have a
problem. Sealant is a good idea. Without it, if you get a flat you are
walking unless you brought along another tire.
Be safe bombing those hills!

Hello, I am using some clincher tubular tires. It dawned on me that if I get a flat then these will most likely fly off the rims. Especially in wet weather. Has anyone heard of this and any additional risks associated with tubular clincher tires? Or should I just put some tire sealant in the tires to avoid a catastrophy? I plan on bombing down some hills using the tubular clincher tires. Seems like risky riding without the tire sealant. thanks for any insight. -Kristinn
