For those who are still on the fence about coming out this weekend to race the STXC champs and camp out on Saturday, here are some pictures I took of the awesome camp site and the larger-than-life championship podium, which will double as a grommet cheering stand during the races:

- Overnight camping is FREE, courtesy of the Port of Cascade Locks!
- Six fresh honey buckets were just installed on site today.
- There is a faucet with potable water at the entrance of the venue.
- There is a county-wide fire ban during the month of August, so no camp fires. Cooking stoves and gas lanterns are fine.
- In lieu of a camp fire, we'll be showing MTB movies under the stars on a giant inflatable outdoor movie screen (amazing the stuff they have at Target!).
- The water in the bay is just the perfect temp for a refreshing swim (day or night), so bring your swimming gear.
