Thanks Eric.
A reminder that this company not only allows these nice bike / hike trails on their property, but also stepped up to sponsor the OBRA short track champs last Sunday at Cascade Locks. Thanks SDS.
It is very dry out in the woods!

SDS needs to close all usage of it's Company lands due to fire danger (read below)
The Whoopdee trail is closed to foot and bike traffic until further notice.
Looks like the Whoopdee bear will enjoy a little piece and quiet for a while.

To all interested parties:
Due to Extreme Fire Danger, Stevenson Land Company (dba: SDS Co) and Broughton Lumber Company (BLC) is immediately implementing a full closure of Company Lands, until further notice.
This closure applies to hiking, biking and recreational vehicles in Oregon and Washington in Hood River, Wasco, Skamania, Klickitat and Yakima counties.
The Industrial Fire Precaution Levels (IFPL) are at a Level 3 for Very High Fire Danger in all areas.
For more information on IFPLs see these links:
http://fortress.wa.gov/dnr/ifpl/IFPL.aspx

We are mostly in Zones 609W, in Washington and MH4, MH1 in Oregon.
Public compliance with this closure is mandatory. Enforcement will begin soon. Thank you for helping SDS and BLC continue to keep their lands open for public use during the safe working and recreation periods.
Notification will be emailed to this list when Company lands are re-opened. Please feel free to forward this email to others who may be affected by this closure.
