Many of you made it to the OBRA Short Track Championships this past weekend in Cascade Locks. Congrats to the new Champions and to Kris and Portland Racing for putting together a great event. I dropped by to see the venue and was excited by the scene.

A number of people had questions about what the Double Cross courses will be like. We will actually be using more of the south side of the property, just as you cross the railroad tracks. There is a grassy field on the left that we will use for parking. The start/finish area will be located on the paved cul-de-sac. We're going to be using a lot more of the double track, both on the plateau and down by the water, though we'll be dipping into some of the same trails. Expect a killer sandbox on one day and, as Ron noted, a monster run-up as well. The start/finish area will be the same for both days but the course will change.
