The 2012 Cyclocross season begins with the 2nd annual Grand Prix series on Sept 1st in Vancouver, Washington. This year, the series is named after local rider Tina Brubaker. If you have been around cycling for a few years, you have may have crossed paths with Tina. She is a Portland native who began racing in 1994 and is currently a Category A woman in cross. Chances are, you will see her at the races listed below.

The Grand Prix Tina Brubaker (GPTB) is a Cyclocross Series composed of nine independently promoted CX races. These great independent races kick off in September and run through the very end in December. Riders from any state are welcome to race the GPTB.

Leaders Jersey -
A GPTB leaders jersey provided by Castelli will be awarded to the leader of select categories during a short podium ceremony after their race. The points leader of each category is required to wear their leader's jersey while they maintain their lead.

Points -
The best seven out of nine placings in the series will count in the final tally (dropping the two races with the fewest points). Riders must race in at least 5 races for the overall series. Series prizes will be awarded at the series end party. There will be no BAR points for the series, only the individual races. Points and series standings will be managed by Athletepath.
Series overall awards and prizes will be handed out at the GPTB series end party, the first week of December.
