All,
Post Canyon logging update:
Please remember that the following trials are closed in part or whole:

- Mobius
- Spaghetti Factory
- 7-Streams
- Post Flats Moto loop
- Frankenstein
- Middle 8-Track
- The Boot
- Twin Peaks
- 140

Spaghetti Factory will be closed till the spring due to current logging
operations. Please stay off the trail. The loggers are actively felling
trees on the trail starting Monday 8/27/2012. It is no longer rideable or
hikeable in the center section. Furthermore a portion of Post Flats Moto
Loop is wiped out as well - the logging is affecting the section of that
trail that you might think to use as an alternative route. The trees being
felled this week are so the logging operation can create a road to get to
the area where you can see Charlie's trail and 7-Streams trail. Within
weeks the cable hauling machinery will be moved from the top of Mobius to
this area to begin the second phase of the Clematis timber sale referred to
as CC2. That section of Spaghetti Factory is being transformed from being a
trail to a logging staging area and road. Mobius is already that.
If you some how find your way to Blue Car and want to get to Mitchell Ridge
- take 140 as it is the only way.

Please stay off of 7-stream as there is still active logging on both sides
of the trail and very very dangerous.

It is not expected that the following trails will be re-opened till the
spring of 2013 at the earliest:

- Mobius
- Spaghetti Factory
- 7-Streams
- Post Flats Moto loop
- Frankenstein
- 140

Trail 140 update: The section from the big switch backs down to Blue Car
basically can only be found in a few places - 90%+ of the trail is not just
covered up it is no longer there. I would strongly recommend *not *trying
to ride it. If you descend down 140 from the Riorden Hill road crossing cut
over to Bad Motor Scooter from the top of the clear cut ridge unless you
want to hike a bike for 20-minutes. (if you can figure out where to go as
it has a new landscape that looks foreign) If you try to ride it you will
basically have to walk from the third switchback all the way to Blue Car or
Riorden Hill road- and you will most likely not recognize where you are. If
you choose to ride i would suggest that you walk up to Riorden Hill Road
from where the trail disappears
