Short Description: Women's cycling: The Reve Tour ladies & the uphill
battle for women in the sport.
For September we take an in-depth look at the state of the sport of
cycling for women. First, inteviews with Heidi Swift and Jennifer
Cree, two Reve Tour ladies who rode the each stage Tour de France this
year a day before the pros. We'll hear about their experiences as
women taking on an insurmountable challenge and inspiring others to
take on their own. We'll also take an in-depth look at the state of
women's cycling as a sport with Sarai Snyder of
Cyclofemme/Girl-Bike-Love and Kristy Scrymgeour, Team Manager for
the professional women's cycling team, Specialized-Lululemon, who'll
give us some insight into the current inequities and the future of
women's cycling.
