So USAC has this ranking system. And if you participate in a race in which
the promoter submits the results to USAC for ranking, your "points" (not
really points, just a ranking) are automagically credited to your USAC
license. Your rank is the average of your best five results over the past
12 months.
And it doesn't matter if you race elite, SS, masters, whatever. If the
promoter sends in yours results with your license number, you get a rank
for that race. The rank is based on quality of field, field size, and your
result. Chances are you are going to have better quality of field in elite
or A or 1/2 races. Just saying.
