>From pictures of Het Meer, it looks like sand is the new mud for Oregon 'cross. Fortunately, we've got some lined up for both days: A pleasant ride on the beach on Saturday and stroll through the sandbox on Sunday . Pail, bucket, and castle not included.

So we're two weeks into the GPTB series with another great race coming right up. Will the leader's jerseys change hands (shoulders?)? The Saturday Double Cross has a bit more elevation gain than the last two weeks; will we see a different type of rider prevail? Only one way to find out!

* Double Cross #1 on Saturday is race #3 of the GPTB.
* Double Cross #2 on Sunday is race #1 of the Oregon JCS. (Though we have the same Junior racing schedule for both days).
* We have special Double Cross trophies for the best two-day riders from each category.
* And, of course, points earned by the top ten riders in each field BOTH days count, along with the Battle at Barlow, towards call-ups at the first Cross Crusade race on October 7th.Thanks!
