so I've gotten quite a few very helpful emails and today I'll be going out to ride the trails of Monument Peak. I know this area has tons of promise. Logisticly I need to recognize the 'total package' (ample parking, access, safety, etc...). This will be my teams (Hapi-Go!) first race promotion but I've got a solid two decades of event management and this idea was suggested to me by a member of the Chamber of Commerce so I'm certain I'll be able to pull in great support from local businesses. So now the seed is planted, I'll start to water it today with sweat 'n grins.
