Chris Johnston
The Whypass MTB trail network in Eugene needs your help. This area was
built by a local IMBA chapter (Disciples of Dirt) and the BLM is
considering a formal designation as a MTB Riding area, construction of
restrooms, parking areas, 10+ additional miles of singletrack, etc. The
BLM has proposed three options and needs public opinions by today. I (and
every other cyclist I know who has ridden and helped build Whypass) feel
that Option 2 is the best bet and have voiced this to the BLM. I would
encourage any of you who have ridden there or who want to support local
mountain biking to do the same.
All you need to say is "I support Alternative #2 in the Carpenter Bypass
Environmental Assessment. Send emails to BLM_OR_EU_Mail@blm.gov
Lots more info (including details on all three options) on the DoD website:

The deadline is TODAY! Please act immediately if you wish to help.
Thank you,
Chris
