HUGE THANKS.
Thanks for all your efforts Jeff. I know even though you work very hard, all the folks helping you are so important to making the race happen. You guys did a great job of putting on a race in a brand new venue. Like life, trying something new (a new place) has three aspects.....1)experience, 2) try it and 3) refine it.
See you tomorrow for some more fun! I expect it to be a hoot of a time.
Way to keep us on our toes and or fannies today!

Subject: [OBRA Chat] Double Cross Day 1

Thanks to everyone who came out and made Double Cross #1 our biggest day ever! We had some great racing and worked hard to make the new venue successful.

We've made some changes to the course tomorrow, to try to make sure it has much more flow, so the course map I posted earlier is no longer correct. Some of the course will be the same, just the opposite direction. We'll have a little more sand, a new run-up (not as long), and we've eliminated the rocky drop-in. I'll have some maps posted at registration.

If you were in the top three in any field today and didn't pick up a prize, check in with the lovely ladies at registration (after 9:00 AM) for some great stuff from G. Williker's Toy Shoppe, Waucoma Bookstore, Silverado Jewelry, and Double Mountain Brewery. We also have money for the top 3 A men and women both days. Top rider in each category over the two days will receive a custom Double Cross trophy.

Remember, tomorrow is JCS #1 and we'll have a full plate of Junior racing. Kiddie cross will run again, and we have more Packer's Cookies and medals.

Come on out and grab some of those valuable Cross Crusade call-up points!

Thanks again and I hope to see you all tomorrow!
