Big thanks to Bike Gallery downtown; the guy who apparently stole my Stumptown last week showed up to look for some used parts today. Amy and Matthew recognized the bike from the OBRA list, and while they aren't allowed to hold the bike or the person, they did alert me and the police. After a couple hours riding around southwest Portland, I found the guy walking it down broadway tonight, and it's safely home tonight.

Also a shout out and thanks to Bill Larson at Cyclepath, who, unlike me, had a copy of the sales receipt and serial number. That made the recovery go very smoothly tonight.

The thief didn't stick around for photos and if my iPhone wasn't so slow to respond I'd post one.
