Earlier this year I bought a set of used Easton EC90 SL carbon tubulars that had Grifo's already glued on with tape. The rear wheel needed to be re-glued to I ripped off the tire and began trying to remove the glue AND tape... I knew it would not be easy, but six hours later I still can't get the tape off the rear wheel. My question is, should I tape and glue my new tubular or just stick with glue only? Also, for those who recommend tape the tape method, how do you remove it?
