I was always under the impression that the school is more of a technical or
trade school aimed at preparing people for professional shop or team
mechanic work, hence the cost. Not that you can't go, but it would be like
going to the bartending academy to learn to pour cocktails for your buddies
or culinary institute to learn to cook your family dinner. Maybe a little
overkill?

There's nothing you can't learn in 5 minutes on youtube for free, if you
have the tools.

Anyone have any experience with their classes? I can do basic maintenance stuff but am interested in doing all my own work on my bikes. Thought the week long Intro to Bike Maintenance would be a good start but it is $$$ so I want to make sure it is worth my time.

Any input would be great.
