dics brake repair question

So I'm running SLX brakes and gussett 160mm rotors. I instsaled everything correctly, bled them, bedded them in, etc.

About a month ago when ever I'm walking my bike, my front disc will hum a high pitch hum. This isn't typical brake squeel, the noise stops once the brakes are applied. I've readjusted the calipers and cleaned the rotors and pads with alchol but it still happens.

I've been an avid cyclist for 7 years now and have built quite a few bikes and wheelsets. This is the first time that I'm stumped and I'm to stubborn to go to a shop...no offence to shop mechanics.

I've heard about light sanding with fine grit paper? I'm thinking that it could be the light weight gussett rotors vibrating the hum.

Any ideas? I'll even give the person with the solution that works an OBRA water bottle.

Thanks,
Stewart
