There is an intermittent problem with the third-party credit card payment gateway we use. It sometimes returns the wrong SSL certificate and our site halts the credit card transaction. This is a security measurewe want to be sure we only send your credit card information to the credit card company!

If you see an error like "hostname does not match the server certificate" it means we didn't charge your credit card and your registration didn't go through. If that happens, please email me and I will reset your order so you can try again.

I know many of you are registering for weekend races today. I should have a fix in place this evening to workaround the problem without compromising security. Of course, I want to take the time to do it right so that I don't introduce any new problems.
