Greetings!

The UO collegiate omnium is happening this weekend in Eugene, I'd just

like to invite everyone to come out and check out some really cool

collegiate racing action this weekend. I mean hey, you're going to be

in town for the Piece of Cake race on Sunday anyway, right?

And just a reminder, extra volunteers for the road race on Saturday

would be warmly received, and all volunteers get a free UO Cycling

t-shirt! If you're interested in volunteering (specifically driving a

lead car) email me or just show up to the staging area at Crow High

School (directions are on the race flyer) at 9:00 am.

Have fun this weekend, the weather forecast in Eugene for this weekend

is 60 and no rain!!

Ride on, ride on,

Not to be outdone by our neighbors to the north, the UO Cycling team is

hosting a collegiate-only omnium March 29-30, featuring the Crow-Briggs

road race and Vaughn Rd TTT on Saturday and the Lonely College Crit at

Greenhill Tech Park on Sunday. Race flyer can be found at:

I have been asked why this race is not open to OBRA fields, the reason

is due to scheduling conflicts. There was only one open spot on the

NWCCC calendar this year, which happened to conflict with another OBRA

race (actually, two races were on the tentative OBRA calendar at the

time I was setting this up) so it was either college only or nothing.

If you would like to volunteer on Saturday for the road race and watch

up and coming college talent from around the northwest compete on a

great road course, please contact me. We really need corner marshals

and lead/support car drivers. All of our friends that we could normally

convince to stand a corner are gone for spring break. Any help would be

greatly appreciated. All volunteers get a FREE UO Omnium t-shirt!!!

Come down to Eugene on Saturday to watch the UO road race, stay in town

and race Piece of Cake on Sunday! If you're interested in volunteering

please contact me at brit-@gladstone.uoregon.edu. Thanks,

Brad
