Well Folks- thanks to our good old Oregon State

University, we must cancel our Crit race this next

sunday. I came up with three different courses, and

all were denied. Apparently, bike races aren't

important enough, nor does it bring in enough money to

shut streets down on campus, just football games(yes-

sarcasm is nice). I am very sorry for this. I would

like to see the race come back next year- as students

and community alike enjoy watching. If you'd like to

put in your two cents of discontent, here are the OSU

president and Students body presidents emails. If you

feel that you would like to write, please be nice, as

they are not directly involved with this, but have

enough power to make sure the University pays

attention to ALL sports and clubs and academics, not

just the ones that pay big money. Sorry again, and

hope to see you at the road race.
