The Fred Meyer/Lakeside cycling team is looking to sponsor 6 juniors for the cyclocross season. This would include 4 juniors age 10+ with a max height of 5'. They will receive use of a complete Redline cyclocross bike, jersey, race fee reimbursement, technical support, coaching and mechanical support at no charge for the 2012 cyclocross season. In addition we are looking for one junior who fits a 50cm frame and one who fits a 52 frame. They will receive the same support as above.
The goal is to bring more depth into the junior ranks of OBRA. Because cycling is an expensive sport, the team is working to eliminate this obstacle.
There would be a commitment of a certain number of races, meetings and workouts for the riders. No prior race experience is required.
