Posting for a friend who wants to buy a mountain bike.
He wants a used bike in the $1,000-$1,200 range. Probably a size large.
Wants a bike with suspension that could also be ridden on the road for transportation but would be good on trail also.
I'm thinking hard tail or full suspension with a lockable rear which might be ideal.
