Course changes at Rainier from A to B?

You can also request that I send you all the lap times. That way you do not
need to calculate averages ;-)

Don't forget that each race start has a single clock. One category goes
out, then "N" amount of time later, another category goes out. Rinse and
repeat as many times as necessary. The posted result times do not reflect
that "Categor Y" went 2 minutes after "Category X", etc. So - if you even
did want to try and calculate averages and course times, you need to know
how much "N" start time offset for a specific category was, subtract that
from the posted results, and then determine if the two start times raced the
same course.

Also don't forget that if it rains for 30 minutes just before one race
category, race conditions can be radically different from one race start to
another. We saw this in full force at Ninkrossi. After a few race starts,
the course started getting tackier and better traction. Then, 45 minutes
before the 1:00 pm race start, it sprinkled for 30 minutes. The course was
significantly greasier and caused a lot of slower entry/exit to some of the
downhill corners. By the end of the race, it started getting tackier again,
and you could rail the corners. Course conditions vary throughout the day.

I say just go out there, give it your all, and be happy with your results
... let those positive endorphins do their thing ... those are the only
drugs I need ... oh, that and a good Ninkasi beer (at the legal venues!).

I know that there was a mention of an off camber section being taken out,
but based on a ride around the course cheering on the A's, I'm not sure if
the off camber came out before the A race or not.

Thanks.

So it sounds like comparing lap times between the two races is pretty much

Does anyone know if the course was changed at Rainier from what the A's
raced on to what the B's raced on?

I know that there was a mention of an off camber section being taken out,
but based on a ride around the course cheering on the A's, I'm not sure if
the off camber came out before the A race or not.

Thanks.
