*David Douglas CX Race #2 Boo! – Oct 26th *

Goblins, Super heroes, and French maids, come and experience a classically
spooky course in Vancouver. The second round of CX racing at David Douglas
Park coming Saturday Oct 26th. We’re going to do the HARD course this time.
The course offers lots of fast flat grass sections, paved trails, gravel, a
scary forest single track, and a screaming MONSTER lung bursting
run-up. *Costumes
are welcome*. Be prepared to have a great day of racing!

*Halloween Kiddie Kross**: A non-competitive event for those 10 and under.
Modified course. This* race is FREE. Parent/guardian must sign
entry/release form. Let’s see those cute costumes!

*Team tents*: Team tents are welcome. We will have a team tent area
designated near the central vending area (see course map).

*FOUNDRY CYCLES RAFFLE!* - Come join us at DDCX#2 Boo!, race and
automatically enter the raffle for a Foundry Cycles 'Auger' frameset. (
http://foundrycycles.com/bikes/auger) We will also be raffling off a
'Whiskey No.9' carbon disc CX fork. (http://whiskyparts.co/catalog/forks).
It's easy to enter the raffle: show up, race. It's not necessary to stay to
the end, we'll announce the winners online!

*Race Registration*

1) Pre-registration: $25 per rider, $8.50 Juniors (Online Pre-registration
closes Friday October 25th at 5:00 p.m.)

*Race Numbers*

We will be using OBRA CX numbers. Numbers on the left. There will be lines
just for racers who have a CX bib number already. You will just need to
hand over your release and entry fee and we mark you off, it's that easy.

*Mechanical Support*: *Sellwood Cycle Repair* will be generously providing
mechanical support all day. Mechanical support will be located near the
pit.

*NOTES* -

- Cyclocross rules in effect. Standard Bicycle racing rules apply.
Approved helmets required at all times (including riding to and from
registration, during warm-up, cool down, in your jeans, shorts, slippers)
while at the venue. Failure to comply could result in disqualification.
Course is closed for warm-up until clearance has been given by the chief
judge and/or race director.
- No alcohol at the Park. This is city property and we do not want to
lose this venue.
- Please do not ride on the softball fields.
- Please use the provided Port-a-Potties, not the bushes.
