Dear OBRA Nation.  Please consider this email as fair warning that the 2012 Halloween Cross Crusade this upcoming weekend in Bend will likely inflict dangerous levels of laughter and knee-knocking euphoria to all those who attend.  If your euphoria continues for longer than 5 days after leaving Bend, you should consult a doctor immediately.  We have a bunch of surprises lined up for you that will make this year's Halloween Cross Crusade the best ever.  Here's what you need to know:  The theme of this years weekend is "Cyclo du Soleil."  It's a circus folks.  Be ready to be entertained.   The festivities will start with the Friday evening Opening Ceremonies and early registration at the Deschutes Brewery Warehouse from 6 to 9PM.  Meet your friends at the Opening Ceremonies and enjoy free Deschutes beer for all registered racers.  After a full day of reveling and racing on Saturday, the most awesome party of the year will start at 8PM in the
Deschutes Brewery Warehouse.  This is a party you will not want to miss (just trust us on this one - and be ready to dance).  Then the 4th annual Clydesdale CX Championship of the Universe will begin at 8:30PM (guaranteed party re-entry for all Clydesdale Racers), then following  the Clydesdale race we'll go back inside the warehouse to party our socks off until 2AM. Then on Sunday, the full-on craziness will ensue all day.  Beer garden, rides, music, and entertainment.  Fun for the entire family.  You can find all the details for the weekend's festivities at www.halloweencyclocross.com .
