So summer is finally over, I’ve packed up all my deck staining gear and getting ready for all the leaves to fill your gutters.
Last year I ran a ½ price on gutter and roof cleaning, so I figure that I’ll run the same deal from now until the end of January. My prices vary depending on roof pitch, single story, two story, etc. So just get in touch with me and I’ll give you a free estimate.
A couple of points about roofs and gutters: I’ve seen that gutters will pry themselves loose from the house due to the leaves and muck holding the water into gutters and not allowing them to drain. Also when the temperature drops the water will freeze which will expand the gutters…also helping the nails to come loose.
As for pressure washing a roof, many people are advised not to do so. In the industry it is advised not to do it if you don’t know what you’re doing! To high of pressure or shooting water up under shingles will hurt your roof. Washing a roof, even done properly will hurt composite shingles a little, but nowhere compared to the damage that moss and leaf debris will do to a roof. So I only advise to wash a roof of moss build up. If you roof has no moss, it is pointless to wash a roof. However, very low pressure and a wide fan spray tip can brighten up a roof a little.
Thanks for reading and hope to see y’all out at the cx races.
