A group of us from multiple women's racing teams in OBRA-land have recently formed a committee to "market" Women's Road Racing to the masses for 2013 and beyond!

Over the past few years we have seen drops and inconsistencies in numbers of women racing their bikes, especially on the road. In an effort to make Road Racing and mentoring opportunities more accessible to women of ALL abilities, we are putting forth a hearty effort this coming season, which will involved a launch event, followed by skills rides and other mentoring opportunities.

We already have representatives from some of the larger womens teams in OBRA-land, but we are calling out to any teams that are not yet represented. If there are women on your team please have ONE representative of the womens team contact us at: hello@letsracebikes.com. Please give us your contact info, including what team you represent and your email. We want to make sure that all teams are helping out with this effort.

Our goal is that, through a collaborative effort from teams and experienced racers, we can encourage more women to come out and try racing on the road. The skills clinics and mentoring opportunities should encourage safety, longevity and FUN in Oregon Women's Racing.
