I think I know the person behind this. He is a old (read long-time
reader/contributor) to the Race.Bicycles.Racing usenet group (yes,
some of us still refer to usenet).

Dear friends, teammates, fans, and creditors:

In the wake of recent events in the world of cycling, I can no longer hide my past. I admit to doping with EPO, blood transfusions, cortisone, testosterone, Clenbuterol, Actovegin, rhinoceros horn, and PCP. I did not want to use these products but I was driven by unbridled ambition to win at any cost. I took these products between June 1991 and June 2012.

I don't care what anyone thinks about my actions and I hope that my confession can help bring positive change to the sport that we all love so much.

The Rhino horn caused me to quit riding in 1999, but after all the time off the bike, I figured I'd fire back up again a in 2010. Oddly, none of these are making me anything more than pack fodder. Here's to 2013!

Sincerely,
scaler911
