Washington County Fairgrounds

First off, I want to say that I hope everyone is having a blast at the Cross
Crusade this year. We have had an amazing run of good weather which I think
will last through this weekend. I was at the venue a couple of days ago and
can promise that no matter what the weather does, there will be mud.

Teams that wish to set up tents will be able to do so only on Sunday morning
and it will be first come first serve. All other racers please use the
Fairgrounds parking lot and not the Max/Trimet lot.

There will be a gun show going on at the fairgrounds too. So bring a little
extra cash for that.

Next weekend we will be at the PIR infield for our final Crusade race of
2012. We have a few surprises in store (Last Regiment Drumcore) so make
sure to make it out.

We decided to move the date of the awards party to Sat. Dec. 1. It is at
Indent Studio on SE 9th and Clay (same location as last year). The theme is
"Office Christmas Party". We will have a Xerox machine on hand for body
part portraits. Dresscode is office casual, whatever that is. We won't be
distributing prizes, we will be distributing Christmas bonuses. Madisons
will be serving up grub and serving Deschutes beers and vino. Hope you can
make it.

I would like to congratulate Alan Brandt for winning the Deschutes Brewery
instagram Halloween Photo Contest. He won a Shimano tubeless wheelset,
compliments of Nick Gibson and the great folks at Shimano.
