All the same. Here is what I did before I quit racing 'cross: after every mudbog race, remove ALL the "sealed" bearings and blow them out alcohol and compressed air. Also use Dumonde Liquid Grease as it binds to the metal and seems to inhibit rust which is the reason the bearings seize and fail.
Bottom line is if you clean the bearings directly after the race they do not have time to rust and will last for a long time.

Anyone use Tacx replacement pulleys on their SRAM derrailers?

I have a Rival setup that is 2 years old. Pulleys seized up in Bend and I bought a new pair there.

After the Barton race they seized up again. Cleaned them and soaked them in Triflow overnight and they loosened up. Raced yesterday and this morning seized up again.

Now they are soaking in triflow agaon. Waiting for a replacement set to warranty out through a shop. Wondering if I should try another manuf? Any feedback would be great.

Any body have these issues with Shimano pulleys?
