The Mt. Hood Cycling Classic and Sprint are proud to present the
Sprint Kid's Stage Race
May 31, 2003
Bring the family to enjoy an evening of racing for adults, and kids too! The Sprint Kiddie Stage Race will consist of three stages. Each event will be timed. All stages must be completed. The competitor with the fastest cumulative time will claim victory! There will be two different age group Kiddie-gories to choose from: Age 5-7 and 8-10. Everyone will take home a ribbon. The top three competitors in each Kiddie-gory will be awarded special ribbons and prizes.
Stage One
Straight As An Arrow Time Trial
Stage Two
Topsie Turvey Kiddie Criterium
Stage Three
Up and Over the Hill Road Race
The stages will all be short and appropriate for each age level and helmets are required. All three competitions will be completed prior to the Cramer Mortgage Criterium
This is a free family fun event brought to you by Sprint and the Mt. Hood Cycling Classic. Pre-registration is encouraged, but not required. If your child plans to participate just e-mail their name and age to jul-@discoverbicycles.com or contact Julie at 541-386-4820.
Registration will be in the Sprint parking lot located on Wasco Street. The race will begin at 4:00 p.m.
