To whoever slapped my butt while I was fixing my chain at the beginning of the Master A race- Thank you. It added levity to an otherwise frustrating situation (blown call up!) and set a good tone for the rest of the race.

Dan, it wasn't me that slapped your butt, but I am rersponsible for slapping the ass of an OBRA official that was fixing some barrier tape during the Master B's race. I immediately had mixed feelings after I had done so. It was just there like a gift, waiting to be spanked, and I was living in the moment. Sometimes living in the moment can go too far. One of my friends racing yesterday was sprayed with mustard during her race. That could have unintended consequences and that amount of exhuberance can easily lead to many other barriers being crossed other than the mandatory orange ones. If whoever I slapped had a better day as a result you can thank me later, or if it pissed you off you can spank me later. Just watch for the rubber chicken. That's me.
