This is David from Bellingham, WA. A name from the past.



I'm going to be in Portland on April 10-13 for a Journalism Education

conference. I plan to bring my bike a get in a few miles somehow.



I'm looking for group rides to get in with. Can you recommend someone

for me to contact, or let me know of any rides you know about?

We will be staying in downtown Portland (I don't know the hotel; a

fellow teacher made the arrangements). I will be helping chaperone 14

high schoolers, so it would be best to ride first thing in the

morning, but I might be able to vary that.



Also, are there pretty good roads from the downtown area to ride on?

Any recommendations about routes?
