Still setting the bar for Cross.
We are so fortunate to have these dedicated individuals who make up the Crusade Crew. It is their hard work and desire to give those of us from the unsure beginner to the elite rider a top level course at each of their venues. They refined and stepped up what they offered us to the point where I felt I could have heard riders next to me speaking Belgian, French, Swiss or German. Of course, this being the Pac. NW, it was more like how good the PBR or Mirror Pond might taste afterward.
Thanks to the key group inside the Crusade, the top notch sponsors, BTA (“Tom R. you are the man!” for providing the kiddies a rockin’ good time), the amazing OBRA crews who keep all of us different breed of cat(tle) in the right chutes and all sorted out in the end, the volunteers and Splinter for reminding us who we are as we ride by the finish. Show them you love em"’.
Last and maybe just as important a huge shout out to the most fantastic fan base for all the riders when out on the course. Fellow riders, families and friends are always there to cheer on and ring them bells for the racers. You are the wind in our sail. How many of you have been able to push a little harder because of these wonderful people sending so much energy your way?
