THATS IT!!!! Drift Bikes are the way to go!! I can't believe I haven't seen one of these in Portland yet, and I live near all the stoners on Mt.Tabor.

I'm going to build one, but with pedals.  It's like a big wheel for grown up's!!!  I could do the zoobomb on it!!!  My kids will truly think that I'm crazy!!!

I think something more like this would be fun down Mt. Tabor.

Gil, Roger, all interested.
First I have to say the video of the guy going downhill on the trike made me
realize that I really am coming into the show late! These not only exist,
but there are probably some super sweetly built trikes out there. While
watching, my "old body" initiated the thought about how grotesquely hard
riding one of those in super muddy conditions would be. As in....I will
just stop and scream, small child meltdown like until someone provides beer
and my DQ direct to the beer tent!

On the other hand. That photo of the dudes racing on grass (I could even do
dry dirt and or gravel or combo of all) really did look like it would be a
pot load of fun. The truth is fun trumps finish for me. If it is not fun,
I ain't doin' it. Some hurt is just fine, but it must be fun hurt.

This just might be a whole new obra discipline! We might have to start with
the more available fat tire models of trikes you see being used by the
elderly. I would not be questioned if purchasing one of these. I am also
sure we can find plenty of lawns............we just keep the venue on the
move.
Lets chat among ourselves. This might be a total hoot!
I am serious.

I'm holding out for the elderly-person-with-walker division in cross and track. Can you just see the ads on VeloNews for aero wheels on em? I bet I will still be dfl, but I can dream can't I?
