Double Cross 2013: Back to the 'Hood!

Hey Jeff!
This is fantastic news! If there is anyone who has not raced Cross at the Hood River Valley High School venue, I urge you to put it on the calendar for this coming cross season. This course if not only fun, but very much a challenge. Lots of different surfaces to test you early in the season. This is true wet or dry. It is right at the top of our NW cross courses in my opinion.
Thanks for keeping the series alive at Cascade Locks. It served two purposes.....1) kept Double Cross going strong and 2) taught lots of us lessons in bike control over rough dry conditions...........I did love the sand. But we have some of that at the High School !!!
Thanks for working with the High School to get us racing there again. We will be on our best behavior.

Okay, I know the mud may not be dry from Santa Cross this weekend, but I thought I'd get my first plug of next season early (and I promise you won't hear from me again for a while).

I'm very pleased to announce that we've worked out an new agreement with Hood River Valley High School and the 2013 Double Cross (Sept. 8-9) will be returning to the old classic courses. Thanks to the Port of Cascade Locks for supporting us during our "sabbatical."

Sounds like it was a great season. Thanks to all the racers and race promoters who put it all together. Now, take a few days off, but not too many. The Cherry Pie Road Race is two months from today!
