Candi,
You can forward our not, but you are well aware that I have been racing as
a
senior as well as a masters for several years. The piece of cake race this
last weekend was probably one of the worst races I have ever been in. Not
because I didn't place or win, but because it was one of the first
experiences I have had with such a diverse group of riders, seasoned to
first
race ever. Riders need to realize that brushing and overlapping of wheels
is
part of the pack experience and for those that are just starting should be
respectful enough to ride where they are comfortable. I respect the
desire
to win, but not at the expense of safety. I must honestly say that even
though Eweb where able to get there riders to the front, there was an
expense
that was paid. They rode hard, but certainly not safe, I was behind the
second wreck and many riders, not just Eweb, crossed the center line as we
approached the finish.
Its tough having such a wide range riders in one field, one mans comfort
is
anothers discomfort.
