OBRA hey!

One issue that we all have is trying to remember all our different
passwords. I use this http://passwordmaker.org/passwordmaker.html which
allows me to use the same password to generate a unique password for each
domain I visit. There are extensions for your browsers that use this same
scheme.

A simple alternative is for you to come up with a simple short non-alphabet
word like and then merge it with the domain name after a specified number
of characters.

For example if you used numbers and merged it with facebook, your password
for facebook would be face4534book and for yahoo would be yaho4534o

These aren't great examples but you get the point, you could do
f4a5c3e4book and y4a5h3o4o too.

Tips on password security:
1 - AVOID YAHOO/Gmail/Micrososft public accounts like the plague!
Very easily hacked into.

2 - Choose a password with the following formatting:
8-11 characters (or whatever the minimal length is for your
provider)
Use Upper and Lower case letters
Use 'Special' characters (digits, '_', $, etc)
Use a password that has a special meaning (i.e. King$_Vll3y)
Change your password often if you use YAHOO, Gmail, etc

3 - DO NOT use your name, family names, birthdates, license plate # (or
any other
password that can be easily guessed).

This may be common sense to some, but not to everyone.

Happy Holidays!
