In an effort to help support and promote women’s cycling in the Northwest, The Fred Meyer Cycling Team is looking to sponsor 3-4 developing women for cycling in 2013. The women can be any level but interested in participation/improving in racing at a local level. The sponsorships will include clothing, race fee reimbursement, equipment, technical support and coaching/mentoring. There will be a commitment required for attending training rides, team events and races. Racing can be any discipline but should be more than one. Selections will be based on enthusiasm and drive to improve and participation. If interested, please contact Kent Johnston at the address below.
