Okay, legitimate Lance question...

Much? Maybe almost nothing would come back?

The money would go to Colorado Springs, and what would come back would be
the responsibility to do their job their way.

Yes. This is clearly the issue. If Oregon were to go back to USAC with their
current fee structure and our same volume a substantial amount of money
would go to CO Springs. Of course the volume would NOT stay the same as the
prices would go up so sales would go down. Basically they want our money
but they are not offering much in exchange.

If the Buffalo CHips fall where they appear to be heading, I have a

You could beat someone with a traffic barricade at an OBRA race and still be
welcome at a USAC event. This issue was one of the points of contention
with the reciprocity agreement between the 2 organizations. USAC insisted
that OBRA honor their suspensions without review while they refused to even
consider ours.

Yes Tim. New Cat. The "true" meaning of "Going Postal".
For Cross, Brad would keep them in line. And if Brad could not keep them
herded into the starting chute, Terri Camp or Kenji would.
If they fit in, they might be chasing all over the state scooping up BAR
points. And we might have very tidy port-pottys
A true injection of new blood into the OBRA peloton.
Honestly. If he really tells the truth, even if he gets his sentence

competition. Far more important. He can be a Soccer Dad.

Maybe this field deserves a new category? you could invite the entire

next big civil lawsuit they are all involved in could be in Portland
during the crusade this fall?

All kidding aside the actual answer to the question is in the OBRA rules:

"13.6 Suspension reciprocity
Any OBRA member who is suspended by another athletic organization shall
notify the OBRA Executive Director. When OBRA becomes aware of such a
suspension, the OBRA Executive Director will investigate the circumstances
of the suspension and may impose a similar suspension."

This means that if someone was suspended by US Table Tennis or Joe Bob's
Awesome Bowling League they could also be suspended by OBRA. This also
leaves open the option that Kenji (or whoever is the ED) could NOT impose a
similar suspension, presumably after finding that the suspension by the
other organization was not warranted. If Lance were to come to an OBRA race
I expect that this rule would be enforced to keep him from participating.
Historically all suspensions handed down by USADA or USAC have lead to
similar suspensions with OBRA. This has happened several times. I should
point out that it does NOT go the other way. You can have a heinous offense
that leads to your suspension by OBRA and USAC will have no problem selling
you a ticket to their show.

Not so fast.
I found the following on page 16, Rule 6.5.2 Age Graded Races:
Age graded races are defined at the discretion of the race organizer subject to the following:
MASTERS may be any age range 30 or older. If no age range is stated on the Entry Form/Race Announcement the default age will be 40 and older and (those falling within this age grouping are) eligible to race with the exception of the World's Biggest Douche Bag who is not allowed to race but instead will clean the porta-potties with a tooth brush, thimble and narrow-gauge, manually operated (oral) siphon.
Yet another door closes.

Maybe this field deserves a new category? you could invite the entire
former postal service / discovery team to race the crusade? If the
next big civil lawsuit they are all involved in could be in Portland
during the crusade this fall?

Welcome to OBRA Lance.....Just a couple of OBRA conditions.
You have to race in the "C masters" and be non-eligible for any call-up no
matter your finish, each time you start with the last
number.................BUT be eligible for the coupon for the 6 pack. We
just want you to experience a bit of the real world and what regular people
get for prizes (not to take one thing away from my Deschutes prizes).
Wouldn't him racing in OBRA races go a long way for making OBRA look good?
Not sure about that Matt.
Oh! I am missing his testimony "under oprah" as we speak.
If he really comes totally clean and "stays clean", it would be fine with me
that he raced here.....but emphasis on "stay clean". That might be hard for
him to do considering his personality.

Might as well go all the way - invite Floyd too. They have some catching

Every revolutionary idea seems to evoke three stages of reaction...
One, it's completely impossible.
Two, it's possible, but it's not worth doing.
Three, I said it was a good idea all along.

I know he's banned from competition. But since Obra doesn't fall under any national or international sanctioning umbrella, whatever you call it, could he technically come to Oregon and line up with the A's or Masters in a Cross Crusade race?

It's Sunday afternoon at PIR, Armstrong rolls up... Is Brad Ross really gonna say "Hey fella beat it... Scram...!"?

Could he technically race?
