FD issues solved and gearing choice

Thanks for the input about dropping a chain and FD braze on clip angle.

The issue with dropping a chain was the FD was tilted counter clockwise, creating to big of a gap on the forward part of the cage, even though the clearance of the rings was still dead on.

I did get some comments about my choice of gearing for TT, and I understand and appreciate the advice.  However to any newbie out there, my advice on gearing is use what works for you.  Pay attention to what gears work for various races and then improve on your gearing choice as you improve as a racer.

Good example is for hillclimb TT races I use what is called a junior cassette, with easier gears that a junior can push.  It is a 15-25.  This gives me very tight gearing for hill climbing.  So what if the 15T only allows me to reach a top speed of 33mph, I'm done with the race, I'm tired, and speed does not matter.

So if you run a 39/53, 34/50, 36/46, run what works for you, just try to keep your cassette tight for a better cadence.  Even if that means you never run a 11T cassette like me.

And for all of you that say 53/11 or nothing else...I'll just suck your wheel in a lighter gear.  JUST KIDDING!
